Modi in Maharashtra Live: PM Visit the Memorial of the RSS founders, Ambedkar Landmark Deekshabhoomi in Nagpur
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the construction of a developed and inclusive Bharat will be the real tribute to Dr. Br Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution.
During his visit to Nagpur on Monday, Prime Minister Modi paid tribute to Deekshabhoomi, where Ambedkar kissed Buddhism with his disciples in 1956.
He entered the Stupa in Deekshabhoomi and paid tribute to Ambedkars Asthi (fatal remains) who kept there.
In his message written in Hindi in the Journal of Visitors on the Site, Mr. Modi said that I am exceeded that I had the opportunity to visit Deekshabhoomi, one of the five panchthithrs of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, in Nagpur. We can feel the principles of Babasahebs of social harmony, equality and justice in this holy atmosphere here. He added that Deekshabhoomini energizes people to move forward with a system of equal rights and justice for the poor, less privileged and the needy.
I have all the faith that in this Kaalkhand Amrrit, we will take the country to new peaks of progress with the values and lessons of Babasaheb Ambedkar. The construction of a developed and inclusive Bharat will be the real tribute to Babasaheb, added Mr. Modi.
