Ahmedabad: Gujarat HC confirmed the acquittal of six individuals in the murder of three British nationals of Indian origin near Prantij in the Sabarkantha district during the 2002 riots. A special Sit court in Himmatnagar had exempt the accused citing the lack of evidence on February 27, 2015. Dave said that he had found no reason to interfere with the order made by the Sabarkantha's main district and the session court. A local driver, Yusuf Piraghar, would also have been burned alive by a crowd during the post-goodhra violence.
