Islamabad (Dunya News)-Information Secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI), Sheikh Waqas Akram, said Monday that the Mines and Minerals Bill would not be adopted without the consent of the founder of PTI, Imran Khan.

Speaking in the Dunya news program “Dunya Meher Bokhari Kay Sath”, Sheikh Waqas Akram said that Actif Khan is a very senior member of PTI. He said that no one was withdrawn from the Basic Committee of the PTI or the Political Committee.

He said the provincial government and the cabinet decided that the bill would not be adopted without the authorization of the founder of the PTI. He said he was futile to talk about the bill on mines and minerals even if he remains unanswered for five years and that he will only be adopted if the founder of the PTI approves him.

Waqas Akram said that his party was not involved in the contacts of the stolen door or any negotiation taking place with the establishment.
