Athletics opens outdoors at the invitation of USF Alumni
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Cardinals open their outdoor season on Friday, March 15 in Tampa, Florida at the USF Alumni Invitation. The events start Friday morning at 10 a.m. and last until Saturday.
The team has had a very successful indoor season. They achieved many top results and set many new personal and seasonal records. Throughout the postseason, their success continued, finishing third at the MAC Indoor Championships. Two cardinals, Jenna Oriani And Jenelle Rogersearned individual MAC Champion titles.
After the MAC Championship meeting, Jenelle Rogers qualified to represent the Cardinals at the NCAA Indoor Track Championships. Rogers was a tremendous competitor, bringing home the silver medal in the pentathlon with a new Ball State record of 4,430 points.
As the Cardinals enter the offseason, they will look to build on their recent performances.
