Despite dropping the doubles, Princeton showed its resilience and rebounded impressively in the singles. Maia sung achieved a victory in third position, beating Astrid Olsen 6-2, 6-3, while Alice Ferlito defeated Sarah-Maude Fortin 6-2, 6-4 at No. 5. Madeleine Jessup then tied the match, 3-3, after toppling Melissa Sakar at No. 4, 6-3, 7-5.
The match came down to Eva Elbaz and Daria Detkovskaya at No. 6. While Elbaz dropped the first set 3-6, she defeated Detkovskaya 7-6 (7-4) in the second and forced a decisive third. She was able to take control and went on to win the match, 3-6, 7-6, (7-6), 6-3 to continue the Tigers' run at the NCAA Championships.
