Lions to open 2024 season on Saturday, August 24 during FCS Kickoff
FLORENCE, AL (July 25, 2024) For the second season in a row, fall camp for the University of North Alabama American football team will begin earlier, as the first practice begins on Friday, July 26 at 8:30 a.m. at the Bill Jones Athletic Complex.
INFORMATION FOR THE SEASON
The Lions have 18 practices scheduled for fall camp leading up to the Monday before game day. Practices will be held primarily at the Bill Jones Athletic Complex, with a few practices at Braly Stadium. Beginning August 11, practices will move to the new training facility at the Cox Creek Sports Complex.

The Lions return 44 lettermen from last season, including 18 starters with seven on offense, eight on defense and three on special teams. The Lions also have a plethora of newcomers from both the high school and college levels.
