MADISON, WI (WSAU) The Big Ten has announced the schedule for the 2024-25 men's hockey season.

The conference opens with the first of two games against Ohio State at the Kohl Center on Friday, October 18. The second game of the series is Saturday.

Wisconsin's first Big Ten road game is Nov. 1-2 against Notre Dame in South Bend. Minnesota comes to town Nov. 8-9.

The schedule continues with a two-game weekend series through Saturday, February 22, when the Badgers host Notre Dame. The Big Ten Tournament follows, with games taking place over the next three weekends in the higher brackets.

Wisconsin's non-conference slate includes two-game series against Lindenwood (MO), Denver University, Long Island University (NY) and the University of Alaska-Anchorage. They also play two games at the Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off at Fiserv Forum against Ferris State (MI) and UConn of Alaska-Fairbanks.

The Badgers will also play an outdoor game at Chicago's Wrigley Field against Michigan State on Saturday, January 4 as part of the Big Tens Frozen Confines series. The Badger women will also play a game against Ohio State as part of that event.
