Malvern dominated from kickoff on Friday night and the Hornets advance to Week 13 after a 42-14 victory against the Lowellville Rockets in a Division VII, Region 25 quarterfinal.

The third-seeded Hornets (11-1) will face No. 2 Jeromesville Hillsdale at a neutral site on Nov. 15 in the regional semifinals.

IVC North Player of the Year Jared Witherow was 19 of 24 with 199 passing yards. He threw a four-yard touchdown to Roy Simmons and a twelve-yard score to Rodney Smith.
