Kashyap dominates WTT Humacao 2025 to get a double stage finish in Puerto Rico

Rising table tennis player Stuti Kashhyap continues to make waves on the international circuit and claims gold and bronze medals in a dazzling exhibition of talent and tenacity on the WTT youth candidate Humacao 2025, recently held in the Humacao Arena, Puerto Rico.

Kashyap achieved the U17 Girls Singles title in Commander Style. She triumphed about Valentina Davila van Venezuela in the final (3-1: 11-6, 11-5, 7-11, 11-6), after sending April Cintron Matos (Puerto Rico) 3-1 in the semi-final and Neymaris Hernandez (Puerto Rico) 3-0 in the quarterfinals. In the group stage, Kashyap also conquered Danelys Cruz Rosario and Kailani Cruz, both represented Puerto Rico, with clean 3-0 victories.

Kashyap earned a well -deserved third place in the U19 Girls Singles. She booked a remarkable 3-2 quarter-final victory against Kristal Melendez (Puerto Rico) before she fell in the semi-final at colleague Puerto Rican Edmarie Leon, 0-3. Her group phase version included victories over Natalia Cruzado (Puerto Rico) and Gilianie Avila (Puerto Rico), who sealed her place in the knockout rounds.

Kashyap also worked together in the U19 mixed Doubles with Rivera (Puerto Rico). The couple reached the quarterfinals and closely lost 2-3 to Lopez/Medina (Puerto Rico), after a dominant 3-0 win over Torres/Cruzado (Puerto Rico) in the round of 16.
