Mens Tennis Falls, 4-0, to No. 30 USC – Penn State
University Park, PA.- The Penn State Mens Tennis team dropped its match to no. 30 USC on Friday. The Nittany Lions played tough and narrow matches, but eventually fell 4-0.
Double
In the first instance, Loren Byers and Sam Bossem combined to compete against Tristan Bradley and Peter Makk, but the PSU duo fell 6-4. Charl Morgan and Nolan Ranger took the court together, but they dropped their match 6-3, to Volodymyr Iakubenko and Oscar-weightman.
Reiya Hattori and Shri Murugesan were 5-5 bound with Matter Morazzi and Nathan Trouble when the game remained unfinished because USC had already conquered the double point.
Singles
Bossem fell on Court 2 to care, 7-5, 6-1. In fourth place Hattori dropped his match 6-2, 6-4 to Karl Lee. David Lindsay played in the fifth singles against Connor Church, but fell 7-6 (8), 6-2.
In the first place, no. 51 byers was even with no. 26 Makk, with a 6-1, 6-7 (3), 0-1 score. Schoeman took the third singles against weightman and held a 4-6, 5-4 score, and at Hof 6 Murugesan was in a third set with Tristan Bradley with a 2-6, 6-4, 0-1, when all three matches were unfinished because USC had conquered the match point.

The Nittany Lions are organizing a Double Header against UCLA and Mercyhurst on Sunday 6 April. The first competition starts at 11 a.m. and the second is scheduled for 4 p.m., both races are organized in the Indoor Tennis Center. After the weekend at home, the Nittany Lions will travel one last time in the regular season to prevent on Friday 11 April at 1 p.m. and no. 66 Northwestern on Sunday 13 April at 1 p.m. etc.
