Former LSU footballer, NFL Prospect reportedly shot himself after he had led the police on Chase in the spring
Officials in Houston have released new information about the timeline of events that led to the death of the former LSU footballer Kyren Lacy.
In a statement that was released late on Sunday afternoon, Harris County Sheriffs Office broke off the events that happened.
Around 11:15 pm Saturday, Harris County PCT. 4 Representatives responded to a call in which a malfunction was applied with a weapon.
The caller reported that she had a fight with a family member who had fired a gun in the ground. The family member was later identified as the 24-year-old Kyren Lacy.
When delegates arrived on the spot, Lacy had disappeared. A description of his vehicle was broadcast to local authorities.
Lacys vehicle was seen at 11:35 pm. Delegates tried to pull him, but he left, which led to a chase that lasted a few kilometers. Lacys Car crashed a short time later near the 25900 block of Aldine Westfield.
Representatives tried to arrest a sides, but learned that he had suffered a self -inflicted shot wound.
He was declared dead on the spot.
HCSO murder detectives and units of the crime scene investigated the incident. Provisional information indicates that Lacy shot itself during the chase before the vehicle crashed.
A gun was found from the interior of the vehicle. An overview of the PCT. 4 Units Body Camera and Dash-mounted video in the car did not indicate that photos were fired after the pursuit ended.
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences will perform an autopsy about Lacy. There is also a constant investigation into the circumstances of the death of Lacys, just like standard for a death that takes place during an attempted arrest.
