I don't know what point actually happened with this little hit, but Bauer has publicly criticized the Astros for years – calling them for their allegedly abnormally high turnover rates long before their sign theft scandal – so this isn’t isn't much of a surprise. He likes attention and is good enough to get it.
At least it was pretty funny. And, hey, more please – especially against the Cubs during the regular season.
(In case you're wondering, Bauer moved to 3.0 IP today, with just two hits, no runs, no walks and no strikeouts. Alignment throughout the game, but still. Not bad.)
