This week, major technology companies and others will release earnings reports that will provide insight into what the outlook will be for the second half of 2024.

Monday

Verizon is scheduled to report its results before trading begins.

Tuesday

Coca-Cola, Comcast and UPS are scheduled to report earnings before the market opens. Tesla will report in the morning and General Motors in the evening. Alphabet and Visa will report after the market close.

Wednesday

AT&T will report earnings before the market opens, while Ford and Chipotle will report results after the close.

Thursday

AstraZeneca, American Airlines and Southwest Airlines will release earnings reports before the market opens. Trump will speak at the Bitcoin Conference.

Presumed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, Tennessee from July 25 to 27. It will be the first time a presidential candidate has attended the conference, sparking debate over whether Trump's crypto-friendly stance will garner support from the crypto community in the upcoming election.

In addition to President Trump, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is also scheduled to discuss cryptocurrency during the conference.
