Hong Kong protests: Siege of Polytechnic University

Hong Kong police have launched an operation to drive hundreds of anti-government protesters on the university campus – after a day of clashes.

A policeman was injured in the leg after being shot with an arrow – a huge fire exploded on a walkway after protesters spilled debris.

Police have issued an ultimatum to leave the area – with a tear gas and water cannon fire. Matt Frei from Hong Kong reported.
