Delhi to commemorate past disasters and prepare for future disasters

New Delhi: In the wake of a series of tremors across the country, and Delhi NCR in particular, the role of citizens in disaster awareness and preparedness has emerged as a crucial point in local talks. The Delhi region faces earthquake hazards from local fault lines, as does the nearby Himalayan seismic zone.
