Coronavirus is spreading faster than the worst government case in England – BBC News
Coronavirus is spreading faster than the worst government case in England. That’s the opinion of the SAGE team of official scientific advisers – Covid19 says that four times as many people who were caught are prepared. The National Statistics for Office estimates that more than half a million people in England have been infected with coronavirus in the last week, which is about one in 100 people. The head of the ONS said the photo is “gloomy” and said the virus is moving “very fast” among the population. More areas in England are moving to Level 3 – the highest level of alert. It means that almost 20% of the population will live under the harshest restrictions. The numbers will increase pressure on the government to impose wider state limits. Reeta Chakrabarti, health editor Hugh Pym, Dan Johnson in Nottinghamshire and deputy political editor Vicki Young reported on BBC News. Please subscribe HERE .
