An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale was recorded on Sunday, December 20.

The earthquake, which was recorded at around 9 pm, had an estimated epicenter 100 km off the coast of Claythurps.

The earthquake struck at a depth of 11 km and is likely strong enough to be felt in North Lincolnshire.

At 3.3pm, last night’s geological event was classified as a “minor earthquake” but it can sometimes be felt by people and shaking things up.
