Nashville’s girlfriend tells police he was building explosives in 2019

A woman who said she was the girlfriend of the man who started the Nashville explosion on Christmas Day last year told police she was making bombs in her recreational vehicle, according to documents released to CNN by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. On August 21, 2019, police received a call from an attorney representing Pamela Perry, the woman who said she was the girlfriend of the bomber Anthony Warner, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said Tuesday. His lawyer, Raymond Throckmorton, said he had “made suicide threats over the phone.” When police arrived at Perry’s home, they found two unloaded guns around Perry, saying they belonged to Warner. He told authorities he did not want any more at home and that Warner was “building bombs on his residence in a trailer,” according to an MNPD “record account.” Police also spoke to Throckmorton, who once represented Warner and was also at Perry’s home. Authorities told Warner that “he often talks about the military and making bombs. (Throckmorton) believes the suspect knows what he’s doing and is capable of making a bomb,” the report says. CNN has reached out to Throckmorton for comments on its account – the first time Tennessean reported it – but has yet to hear it. An officer saw Warner’s home for several days, but found no evidence of the bombs, Nashville Metro Police Chief John Drake said. Drake said he would need a signal that he was committing a crime or getting a bomb to get a legal search warrant or subpoena. #Nashville #CNN #New.
