Coronavirus: US protests against reopening pressure – BBC News

qq

Protesters have stormed US states, demanding that governors reopen closed economies for coronavirus pandemics.

Clashes in Arizona, Colorado, Montana and Washington were on Sunday, following protests in half a dozen states earlier.

Agitation to mitigate the restrictions has increased, despite the risk of a Covid-19 revival soon to open.

US President Donald Trump has expressed support for the protests.

The US has become the center of the Covid-19 crisis, with more than 735,000 cases and about 40,000 deaths – but indications have emerged that the brigade is reaching its peak and infection rates are declining in some states.
