The man of BSP MLA was arrested in the murder case
Govind Singh, husband of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA Ram Bai Singh who represents Patharia in the Damoh region of the state, was caught at a bus stop in Bhind district, he said.
He is charged in the case of the assassination of Congress leader Devendra Chaurasia in Hata of Damoh in March 2019.
The Supreme Court recently took serious note of the failure of Madhya Pradesh Police to arrest Govind Singh and directed the Director General of State Police (DGP) to arrest him immediately.
