Oregon reports 41 new COVID-19 deaths
Portland, Oregon (KOIN) —The Oregon Department of Health reported 41 new COVID-19-related deaths on Tuesday, increasing the state’s death toll to 3,750.
There were 1,658 new confirmed cases of COVID across Oregon, bringing the state to a total of 326,191.
There were 822 COVID hospitalizations in Oregon, 44 fewer than the previous day, and 237 patients in the ICU bed, 6 fewer than the previous day. There were 53 available adult ICU beds out of a total of 645 (8% availability) and 341 available adult non-ICU beds out of 4,238 (8% availability).
On Tuesday, OHA reported that a new dose of 9,715 COVID-19 vaccination was added to the state’s immune registries on September 27. The 7-day running average is currently 6,926 doses per day.
Oregon is currently receiving 2,967,292 doses of Pfizer Community, 1,901,384 doses of Modana, and 214,028 doses of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.
To date, 2,731,271 people have been vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine at least once and 2,501,554 have completed the vaccine series.
