ISDH: 5,315 COVIDs-19 cases in Indiana, 49 deaths-WISH-TV | Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather
Indianapolis (Wish) – New COVID-19 data released by the Indiana Department of Health.
According to ISDH, an additional 5,315 Hoogers have been tested positive for COVID-19. Those tests were recorded from December 2nd to 9th. All Indiana counties, with the exception of Crawford on the Ohio River, were at the highest recommended levels of red and orange. Crawford was at the yellow advice level.
Since March 2020, a total of 1,150,899 Hoosier have been tested positive for COVID-19.
The ISDH Coronavirus Dashboard reported 49 additional deaths from COVID-19 in Indiana from 13 November and 9 December.
A total of 17,400 Hoogers died of COVID-19. An additional 614 “potential” deaths have occurred, but no positive tests have been recorded.
The 7-day positive rate for unique individuals is 26.4%. The 7-day positive rate for all tests is 14.4%.
A total of 15,861,643 tests were conducted on 4,605,271 Hoosiers.
As of December 8, there are 2,753 Hoosers hospitalized for COVID-19.
ISDH says Hoosiers have been vaccinated 8,059,295 times and 3,488,963 Hoosiers have been fully vaccinated.
according to Regenstrief Institute, 1,035,481 Hoosiers are estimated to have recovered from the virus.
