Orange County overtakes Riverside County with the second highest number of coronavirus cases recorded in California – Orange County Registration

According to the latest data released by Orange County Healthcare Agency on Monday, 20 July, Orange County has reported 29,986 cases since the test was initiated locally. According to the Riverside University Health System, Riverside County had 29,983 cases as of Monday.
Los Angeles County has the largest number of cases in California, around 160,000. The county is by far the largest in the state, with over 10 million inhabitants.

Data reported by two counties show that the number of cases has increased faster in Orange County over the past four weeks. Since June 22, 183% of Orange County has been 117% of Riverside County.

COVID-19 is more common in Riverside County, where the virus killed 588 people, according to a Department of Health report, compared to 493 in Orange County.
When compared to the data reported in the two counties, the state dashboard shows that Riverside counties have the second highest coronavirus infection count. In Riverside County it is 30,340 compared to 29,941 in Orange County. The state did not immediately answer the question about the discrepancy.
