State reported another day over 1,000 new coronavirus cases

Madison, Wisconsin (WBAY)-Wisconsin has undergone a second, three-day, coronavirus-positive test more than 1,000 times.

The state underwent 14,212 tests in the 24 hours leading up to Thursday morning, with 1,052 positive. That is 7.4%.

This is comparable to Tuesday. The state recorded 1,117 positive results from 14,488 tests. But that was a reversal from Wednesday, with even more tests having a positive 712 result-14,780 tests, or 4.82%. This is the first time since July 7 that positive results have fallen below 5%.

The percentage of positive tests is a key indicator of how well the condition is controlling the spread of the virus.

Positive coronavirus tests were reported in the last 24 hours in 62 of 72 counties in Wisconsin and 8 of 15 counties in the Upper Peninsula, Michigan.

At a state health briefing Thursday afternoon, Governor Evers said his office received a lot of demand for face mask requirements across the state. He said it was under consideration, but emphasized the need for personal responsibility. In response to the reporter’s question, the governor said he would not hesitate if he did not expect political opposition to the order.

The state has a total of 45,899 people diagnosed with coronavirus since February.

Thirteen of these people died, making a total of 878 deaths. This is 1.9% of known cases. Milwaukee County reported five deaths. Both Brown and Kenosha county reported two deaths. Outagamie, Winnebago, Eau Claire and Walworth counties are 1 each.

An additional 9,285 patients, or more than one in five, are still active. The remaining 34,682 are considered recovered.

48 people have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours. Due to patient release and death, there are now 187 patients in the hospital and 51 are receiving intensive care. This is a significant reduction from just 354 inpatients and 101 patients in the intensive care unit just two days ago.

To date, 4,273 people have been hospitalized for treatment, or 9.3%. The rate is declining slowly but steadily.

Regarding hospital preparation, the state reports that 18% of hospital beds are available. These are dominated by patients with medical needs other than COVID-19 treatment.

Wisconsin currently has 83 public and private laboratories, and is capable of conducting 24,162 tests per day.

The state provides online tools to view COVID-19 activity for each county over the past two weeks, including the number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the trend of cases increasing, even, or declining. You can see it Click here..

One important advantage is the speed at which information is sent and received. With the help of the internet, the shopping habits of many persons have drastically changed. The car insurance industry hasn't remained untouched by these changes. On the internet, drivers can compare insurance prices and find out which sellers have the best offers. View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily. Although drivers are recommended to not choose a policy just based on its price, drivers can easily sort quotes by insurance price. Using brokerage websites will allow drivers to get quotes from multiple insurers, thus making the comparison faster and easier.
