Antoinette Helena Akita worked hard to control the outbreak of one virus. She lost another life
She acted as a New York City Department of Health oversight physician, and her just child Cyril worked long hours to avoid the pandemic epidemic.

She worked for a short time at Harlem Hospital, where she was her husband, Dr. Francis Akita, in 1981 when both the couple were pediatric internships. The set was practically 35 years water.

“When she laughed, she made you laugh. When you were down, she made you feel good,” Dr. Akita’s daughter-in-law, Jamelia, told CNN. “Her personality brightened the world.”
According to her child, Dr. Akita was actually identified as an early onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
When she began to feel breathing anxiety, she was confessed to the North Shore Hospital on Long Island, New York.

“One of the nurses there was kind enough to spend FaceTime with her almost every day until she died. We prayed together,” said Akita’s child, Cyril. Said.
Dr. Akita passed away on April 1. After her death, her family performed a large-scale Zoom funeral of over 200 people and prepared a small funeral.
“I miss her stupidity, her love to sing, and her hugs. What I miss the most was that I really loved her being there while raising my daughter.” Kirill said.
And remembering his mother, Cyril informs CNN that Dr. Akita’s very first preliminary preparation is part of his child’s middle name.
