Findings published in Obstetrics & Gynecology found some common symptoms of COVID-19, some of which overlapped with signs of normal pregnancy.
Fever is the most common symptom, with 43% of non-pregnant inpatients reporting elevated body temperature.
About 20% said the first symptom was cough, 16% reported sore throat, and 12% said it was body pain.
Only 6% of women said the first symptom was loss of taste or odor.
About 60% of women had no symptoms after 4 weeks of illness, while 25% had symptoms that lasted more than 8 weeks.
