Five deaths from Covid-19 were notified to the Health Protection Monitoring Center and reported yesterday evening. A total of 1,821 virus-related deaths have occurred in Ireland.

Dr. Tony Holohan, Chief Health Officer of the Ministry of Health, said: “The illness profile continues to deteriorate. There have been 32 more hospitalizations and 8 ICU admissions in the last 24 hours. Many cases are seen daily.
“Now it is important to stop the virus infection.
