The number of active infections increased by 3 to 1,387, including 71 in hospital.

Outbreaks have been declared in Burnaby’s Rideau retired homes and continue to occur in 15 long-term or long-term care homes.

The Saskathuwan Department of Health says it is investigating the outbreak of COVID-19, a community infection that includes contacts that track more than 100 people in different parts of the state.
According to the agency, this outbreak seems to be related to a series of full gospel outreach events at Prince Albert from September 14th to last Sunday.
Dr. Khami Chokani, a health officer, declared the outbreak today.
According to the agency, the outbreak involves a large number of closely related people from multiple regions of Saskatchewan.

The Prime Minister has made it clear that the COVID-19 vaccine, approved by Health Canada, will be provided free of charge to all Canadians through Canada’s universal health insurance system.
Justin Trudeau issued a statement at the House of Commons after being questioned by NDP leader Jagmeet Singh.

Manitova is on its worst day since the pandemic began, as the state announced that COVID-19 killed three more people.

The state has announced 32 new cases of the virus — 22 of which are in the Winnipeg Health Area.

Public health officials in New Brunswick have reported 17 new cases of COVID-19 at a special nursing home in Moncton.
Dr. Jennifer Russell, Chief Health Officer, says it brings the number of cases in Notre Dame Manor to 19.
She states that the number includes two families, 13 residents, 4 health care workers, and affected residents.
The first two cases were positive after public health began investigating the facility on Monday night.

Dr. Teresatam, Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer, said the average daily number of new COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 2,052 in the last seven days.
This is a 40% increase from the previous week, almost 10 times the lowest reached in July last year.
According to Tam, the Public Health Agency of Canada is also increasing the number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals.
