Cedelia’s mass vaccination site will inoculate more than 2,300 coronavirus vaccines

The Sederia vaccination site closed on Saturday, with a total of more than 2,300 people vaccinated against COVID-19 in the last three days.

Bothwell Regional Health Center and Pettis County Health Center hosted the event in Fairgrounds, Missouri. The Missouri Defense Force also helped with this event.

According to Hannah Sartin, Marketing Director at the Bothwell Regional Health Center, the event attracted a lot of people and the overall feedback was “very positive.”

“In most cases, everyone we talked to was very grateful that vaccination appointments were available within our community and really wanted to look forward and return to normal. I’m doing it, “said Sirtin.

To qualify for vaccination, individuals had to pre-register for the event and be classified as Phase 1-A, Phase 1-B Tier 1, or Phase 1-B Tier 2.

According to Sirtin, vaccination sites moved efficiently, with most people taking only about 25 minutes to complete the whole thing. The 25 minutes also included an observation time of 15 minutes after receiving the Pfizer vaccine.

With 10 stations on the site, we were able to schedule 35 people to be vaccinated every 15 minutes at the clinic.

According to Sartin, patient appointments for the second dose of the vaccine were automatically scheduled after 3 weeks. Bothwell Regional Health Center plans to offer more clinics based on vaccine supply.

“At this point, we will continue to provide the community with the vaccine while we receive it. Like this mass vaccination, all vaccines are reserved and not available for carry-on,” said Sartin. ..

As of Saturday, Missouri’s COVID-19 dashboard has more than 378,000 people vaccinated with at least the first COVID-19 vaccine, with nearly 2% of Missouri’s total population vaccinated with COVID-19. It is stated that it has been completely inoculated.
