CDC investigating cardiac inflammation after COVID-19 vaccine
ST. Louis (KTVI) – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will hold an emergency meeting next week to discuss more cases of myocarditis than usual reported after COVID-19 vaccination.
The CDC identified 226 reports of a heart condition called myocarditis after shots of people under the age of 30. Less than 100 cases are usually expected in this age group.
