Canadian prog rockers Saga return to the UK after 20 years!
Canadian prog rockers Saga have announced their first UK live show in 20 years.
The band will play Shepherd’s Bush Empire across Europe on Friday 10 September 2027 as part of The Generations Tour 1977-2027 to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary.
“We are all very excited to be in this historic venue and we can’t wait to see you all there,” the band said.

Saga’s current lineup includes longtime frontman Michael Sadler, guitarist Ian Crichton and keyboardist Jim Gilmour, joined by drummer Mike Thorne and bassist Mike Borkosky. Original bassist Jim Crichton has not been a member of the touring band since 2019.
The September 10 show is billed as the band’s only UK show. Saga last played in the UK in 2006, when they attended a poorly promoted gig at London’s The Garage venue, but that night’s audience included Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris and Nicko McBrain, both huge fans of the band.
