No new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Queensland due to the surge in vaccination rates during “Super Pfizer Weekend”.
No new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Queensland, as many have emerged to be vaccinated at the walk-in hub.
The state also had a “double donut” day as the hotel quarantine did not detect any new cases.
Prime Minister Anastasia Parasek said Saturday was a record day for vaccination in Queensland and 31,004 jabs were administered.
She said that 59.34 percent of Queenslanders were initially vaccinated and 41.1 percent were fully vaccinated.
