Actor Simbu admitted to Chennai hospital with viral infection
The actor was recently seen in director Venkat Prabhu Maanaadu.
Popular Kollywood actor Silambarasan TR aka Simbu was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on December 11 with a viral infection. The Simbus PR team confirmed to TNM that the actor was in hospital, adding that doctors said there was no serious health problem. The actor tested negative for coronavirus infection, they said. Simbu would have shot for his next film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. Reports suggest the actor developed a fever and a throat infection before being hospitalized.
He has a viral infection and was admitted to a private hospital in the city. However, the doctors cleared him and it is nothing serious. He is also HIV negative for COVID-19.
