St. Louis doctors recommend masks as COVID hospitalizations increase
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Pandemic Task Force, the number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is increasing again in the St. Louis region.
In the regional hospital system, 130 people are hospitalized with COVID-19, 16 are infected with the ICU and 6 are infected with the ventilator.

The number of hospitalizations is still significantly lower than in the early days of the pandemic. The Task Force reported more than 1,000 hospitalizations in January.
