Madison, Wisconsin (WMTV)-The rate at which Wisconsin was infected with COVID-19 last month increased in May compared to the previous month, regardless of vaccination status.

The unvaccinated group maintained the highest proportion of deaths from COVID-19. The number of people with the primary series and boosters increased from the previous month to 1.1 per 100,000. The COVID-19 mortality rate for those who completed only the primary series was the same as last month, at 0.4 per 100,000.
