Remdesivir, not oxygen therapy, may reduce mortality in patients hospitalized with COVID-19

The findings showed that remdesivir reduced the risk of death in patients not receiving oxygen therapy. In addition, remdesivir appeared to enhance survival in patients receiving conventional oxygen support. Both subgroups had her 2% reduction in mortality over the 4-week observation period.
