Trump explains the death rate of Covid-19 in the US very poorly

In a disgusting and sometimes hostile conversation with Fox News, President Donald Trump made a very bold claim: that the United States has the lowest Covid-19 mortality rate anywhere in the world. “Everywhere in the world, we’ve heard that we have the lowest, perhaps the lowest, mortality,” Trump told host Chris Wallace of “Fox News Sunday”. “The numbers please? I heard we have the best mortality rate,” added White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, who was without a camera. When McEnany returned with a piece of paper, Trump activated Wallace. “A low monthly rate number,” he said, alleging “false news” in the Wallace attack process. “You said we have the worst mortality rate in the world and we have the best.” The president’s claim is not true. And it’s not even close. The U.S., in fact, has one of the highest rates of coronavirus death in any country, and is worse off than malignant countries like Brazil, Mexico, and Russia, according to data collected by Johns Hopkins University. # Covid-19 #CNN #Trump.
