According to a staff member at Brighton Gardens, a life support facility in Middletown, New Jersey, she not only kicked the virus, but stayed at her feet, walking and dancing.
Anna del Priore is active at the age of 107.

“People don’t believe me,” said Laura Halle, the facility’s healthcare coordinator. “It was really wonderful to see her journey.”
Born in the same year as the sinking of the Titanic, Del Priore was infected by a Spanish cold during the 6-year-old 1918 pandemic.

Her granddaughter, Darlene Jasmine, suspects the recovery of Del Priore from a Spanish cold, similar to COVID-19 in that it also attacks the respiratory system. It may have something to do with her recovery. Helen Guzzone, Del Priore’s 105-year-old sister, also survived both illnesses.
After she was infected with COVID-19, Del Priore said, “I have a fever and I didn’t eat much, but I don’t need a ventilator,” so I didn’t have to go to the hospital.
“She is always moving,” Jasmine said. “We were always walking in Brooklyn — up to the grocery store and the bakery. She cooks homemade meals from scratch every night. All Mediterranean foods — olive oil, vegetables, fruits, nuts. It’s like the food of an old peasant who charges you a lot.”

The senior living facility that runs Brighton Gardens told Fox News that Del Priore and her late husband, professional tango dancer Frank, were “loved to dance.”
Meanwhile, Del Priore, who will be 108 next month, said he has no plans to slow down.
