World Cerebral Palsy Day is celebrated around the world on October 6th each year to raise awareness about movement disorders. What is cerebral palsy?

People with cerebral palsy may find it difficult to be accepted, self-conscious, or left behind by others. Say hello to them and take the initiative to provide a hand of friendship. If you are interested in their condition and want to know more about it, it is always good to approach them and ask them directly with respect.

By engaging with them and participating in activities, you can prevent them from feeling left behind. People with cerebral palsy may sometimes need help when performing certain tasks. Take the initiative to provide a helping hand whenever you need it. If the person has difficulty speaking, listen carefully and give them the time they need to speak.
