3.2 Earthquake 4.1 miles ENE of Pāhala, Hawaii, 6 November 5.37 pm (GMT -10)

A 3.2-magnitude earthquake occurred on Friday afternoon, November 6, 2020 at 5.37 p.m. local time near Pahala, Hawaii, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), and according to preliminary data, the location of the earthquake was at a somewhat shallow depth 20 miles. The exact size, epicenter and depth of the earthquake may be reviewed within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and improve their calculations, or when other agencies release their reports. Our monitoring service in VolcanoDiscovery identified a second report from the European Union – the Mediterranean Seismic Center (EMSC) that also recorded the 3.2 magnitude earthquake, and despite its relatively small magnitude, the earthquake was likely very close to the epicenter.
