Irish Coronavirus: As the number of cases of Covid-19 increases, progression is at risk, Dr. Tony Holohan warns

Dr. Holohan said the 5-day moving average of cases increased from 354 to 392.
“In the last few days, we’ve seen more than we expected, based on promising trends over the last three weeks,” he said.
“We are concerned that this progress is at stake. It should be remembered that the virus is still very active in the community and we cannot be vigilant.
“Nphet will continue to closely monitor the situation for the next few days.”
Ireland is in the process of a second national blockade, with the government’s highest level of coronavirus restrictions (level 5) in force until early December.
Dr. Holohan urged people to follow established infection control measures.
“We all need to focus on what we can do to prevent the spread of this disease. Regularly wash our hands, cover our faces, stay away from others, avoid the crowds and socialize. Limit the network, know the symptoms, and self-isolate. If you have one, please contact the GP, “he said.
