Who is Delroy Lindo?
Lindo is an actor and director known for his roles in three of Spike Lees’ most popular films: Malcolm X, Crooklyn, and Clockers.
The London native started playing at the age of 24 at the American Conservatory Theater. His film debut took place in the 1976 comedy Find the lady. He played in two roles after Find the lady before taking a 10-year break from film to focus on theater. He got a Tony nomination for his interpretation of Herald Loomis in August Wilson’s Come and Gone by Joe Turner.
