Prophet Premium Blends of Santa Ana, California, is recalling Diamond Shruumz Infused Cones, Chocolate Bars and Gummies (Microdose and Mega/Extreme Dose) because these products contain Muscimola chemical found in mushrooms of the genus Amanita; Muscimol could be a potential cause of symptoms consistent with those seen in people who became ill after eating Diamond Shruumz products. Reported symptoms include those related to seizures, agitation, involuntary muscle contractions, loss of consciousness, confusion, drowsiness, nausea and vomiting, abnormal heart rhythms, and hyper/hypotension.

Diamond Shruumz infused cones, chocolate bars and gummies (micro and mega/extreme doses) were distributed nationwide in retail stores and by mail order via https://diamondshruumz.com/shop/ Or https://diamondshruumz.com/wholesale/. All lot numbers or best buy dates and all flavors of Diamond Shruumz Infused Cones, Chocolate Bars and Gummies (Micro- and Mega/Extreme-Dose) are included in this recall, and in the event that the product is missing lot information or best buy dates, all flavors of Diamond Shruumz Infused Cones, Chocolate Bars and Gummies (Micro- and Mega/Extreme-Dose) are still included in this recall.

To date, 39 cases of illness have been reported. States reporting cases include: AL, AZ, CA, CO, GA, IN, IA, KY, MD, MN, MO, MT NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN. Reported symptoms include those related to central nervous system excitation (e.g., seizures, agitation, and involuntary muscle contractions), central nervous system depression (e.g., loss of consciousness, confusion, and drowsiness), gastrointestinal symptoms (e.g., nausea and vomiting), and cardiovascular involvement (e.g., abnormal heart rate and hyper/hypotension).

To date, Prophet Premium Blends has received two (2) complaints (as of May 27, 2024), regarding consumers becoming ill after consuming the entire chocolate bar. After receiving the complaints, we reviewed the Certificates of Analysis (COA) for the products that showed higher than normal amounts of muscimol. Prophet Premium Blends has initiated this recall and has ceased production and distribution of the Diamond Shruumz product line while the FDA and Prophet Premium Blends continue their investigation into the cause of the serious adverse reactions.

Retailers and wholesalers should stop use, stop distribution, immediately quarantine the product, and contact their sales representative to initiate the return and refund. After contacting their sales representatives, Prophet Premium Blends will issue return shipping labels, verify inventory, and then issue the refund.

Consumers who have purchased Diamond Shruumz products are urged to stop using the product, destroy it and contact Prophet Premium Blends by telephone at (209) 314-0881 or by email at [email protected] with their number order to initiate the refund. Consumers are strongly encouraged to notify Prophet Premium Blends that they have destroyed the product to ensure it is no longer accessible.
