Naruto Voice Actor Shares His Thoughts On Sasuke’s Proposal To Sakura
Sasuke and Sakura started their own family in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, with Sarada Uchiha carrying the family name by becoming a young Konoha ninja and joining Team 7 alongside Boruto and Mitsuki. While fans never got a chance to see the two members of Team 7 get married, the voice actors of Naruto and Sasuke imagined how the last member of the Uchiha clan popped the question to Sakura, who was pining for Sasuke for years.
Naruto and Sasuke voice actors Junko Takeuchi and Noriaki Sugiyama took the opportunity to chat to Anime Japan, with the conversation heading to how Sarada Uchiha’s father allegedly proposed to Sakura, which is a scene we don’t know about. have ever seen in the anime series proper:
Takeuchi: “To be honest, I wanted something to be created that would show us how he proposed to her, you know? . would you marry me?” and nudges him on the forehead. Is not it?
Taking the opportunity to dig deeper into the subject of Sakura, Sasuke’s voice actor Sugiyama further explained how the Uchiha sees his wife and former teammate in Team 7:
“Well, in Sasuke’s mind, I think he saw it as ‘following the crowd,’ which kept shouting without really knowing it, just because everyone around him was shouting too. But from there, little by little, the inner Sakura stopped appearing, meaning she was talking more and more about what she thought and being herself. Sasuke, on the other hand, was the type of character that didn’t want people to be close to him, he had his own moments of vulnerability, he acted like “don’t waste your time worrying about me…” So I guess this version of Sasuke, who you can clearly see at the end is a very good person and devoted to his family, so he’s the kind of guy who is always taking care of others.”
