Zee5 Becomes First OTT Platform to Release Commercial Bollywood Film with Indian Sign Language Interpretation-Entertainment News, Firstpost
Following its record box office performance, The Kashmir Files is now set to premiere on ZEE5 on May 13 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Indian Sign Language.
ZEE5, India’s largest video streaming platform, sets a world record (with International Book of Records) and becomes the first OTT platform to release a commercial Bollywood movie with Indian Sign Language (ISL) interpretation , making it accessible to deaf people. The ISL interpretation for The Kashmir Files was produced by ISH News, which is the one-stop news and awareness channel for the 18 million deaf people in India*.
After its record-breaking performance at the box office, The Kashmir Files Now set to air on ZEE5 on May 13 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Indian Sign Language. Marking this initiative, ZEE5 held a special screening of The Kashmir Files in Indian Sign Language and saw 500 hearing-impaired people turn around. The special screening was graced by director, Vivek Agnihotri, along with his wife and actor, Pallavi Joshi and actor, Darshan Kumaar.

The Kashmir Files broke box office records by becoming the first post-pandemic Hindi film to cross the 300 crore mark.
