F1 racing comedy from Silicon Valley's Alec Berg in the works at Hulu
Alec Berg and Adam Countee leave Silicon Valley in the world of F1.
Hulu teams up with the duo for Support force, a comedy that was picked up to be piloted by the Disney-run streamer.
Described as Surroundings taking place in the world of Formula 1, Downforce follows what happens when the heiress of a dynastic racing team is sent back to the family business and the difficult choices she must make regarding the future of the team and her family's legacy.
Berg and Countee will write and serve as showrunners on the potential series, produced by ABC Signature. Temple Hill's Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey will executive produce alongside Berg, Countee, Australian F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo and Amy Solomon. The latter is responsible for the development of Berg's ABC Signature production company, having worked with the writer-producer on Barry And Silicon Valley. Downforce This is the first sale from Berg's overall deal with ABC Signature.
