Walker, Texas Ranger Reboot Launches Supergirls Odette Annable

Super girl Star Odette Annable to join Jared Padalecki in upcoming Walker, Texas Ranger to restart. Set to premiere on The CW in January 2021, the series centers on Cordell Walker (Padalecki), a widower who moves to Austin with his two children after performing undercover surgery for two years. Carrying the brunt of his wife’s suspicious death, Cordell finds that most of his work has only just begun. The reboot has already gathered an impressive cast, including Padaleckis ‘real wife Geneviève as Cordells’ late wife Emily.

According to THAT ONE, Odette Annable is the last familiar face to appear on Walker. Annable, known for her portrayal of Samantha Arias / Reign on Super girl, will return under the name of Geri. The bartender at a local establishment called the Side Step, Geri is an old friend of Walker and Emily. Even though Geri hasn’t seen Walker since Emilys’ funeral, he’s teased that the two characters have a long history.

Annable will appear on restart, next to X-Files veteran Mitch Pileggi, Pretty little Liars former Keegan Allen, The 100 star Lindsey Morgan and Zombies Molly Hagan. It is clear that for his first major role after Supernatural, Padalecki will share his stages with a number of well-known performers from other shows.
