Air Force men's basketball team to travel to Canada for cultural engagement tour – Mountain West Conference

USAF ACADEMY, Colorado – The Air Force men's basketball team will take a 10-day trip to Canada from July 28 to Aug. 6 that will include elements of education, cultural experience and competition. The Falcons will play five games against local universities.
During this trip, the Falcons will travel and play games in several regions of Canada, including Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City.
Air Force has 10 days of practice, starting July 16, to prepare for the overseas tour. “We're grateful to have this opportunity as a program,” said head coach Joe Scott “Being able to experience different cultures while giving our team a chance to grow, prepare and perform on the field is invaluable to our players and staff.”
Highlights include trips to the CN Tower, a walking tour of downtown Toronto, Mount Royal Park, Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal, Montreal Underground City, Montreal Chinatown, the Olympic Stadium and a walking tour of Old Montreal in Montreal, Montmorency Falls, a walking tour of Old Quebec and more.
The Falcons will play five games against Canadian universities. The team is scheduled to play on July 29 and 30, as well as August 1, 3 and 4.
This will be the program's first pre-season road trip since the team visited British Columbia in 2007.
