While monitoring her social media post, Gannon also reached out to Bliss Bridal, the name of the store whose tag was on the shopping bag next to the dress. While waiting for the owner to contact her, Gannon speculated about what caused the wedding dress to go missing. “I don’t know if someone was carrying or moving the dress and it got carried away by the vehicle,” she suggested. Gannon, however, refutes that idea. “I think the dress was already worn, so I don’t think she changed her mind,” Gannon explained.
