A third woman testifies that Donald Trump attacked her

Natasha Stoynoff had a job to do.
It was late 2005, and Stoynoff, then a People editor, traveled to Mar-a-Lago to interview Donald Trump and his heavily pregnant wife, Melania, for a story about their first anniversary. It was not out of the ordinary for Stoynoff. Trump had been on his stride since conceiving the apprentices. She had interviewed Trump several times. Nothing had ever gone wrong.
On December 27, Stoynoff conducted interviews with Trump and Melania between photoshoots. Melania had just finished a session by the pool and Stoynoff was preparing to interview the couple together. Melania ran away to change.
Donald said, I’d like you to see this very beautiful piece, Stoynoff said Wednesday in Manhattan federal court, where she testified in the civil rape trial of E. Jean Carroll against Trump. He paved the way to show me this room. They walked through doors and down a hallway. They entered a room. I look around and think, Wow, that’s a really nice piece. I wonder what he wants to show me, Stoynoff said. I heard the door close behind me.
As I turn around, he has his hands on my shoulders and he pushes me against the wall and starts kissing me. She tried to push him away and he tried to push her against the wall again, she said.
How did Trump stop? asked Carroll’s attorney, Michael Ferrara.
The butler entered the room, Stoynoff said. Melania was done changing, she recalled the butler saying, and it was time to do the joint interview.
Did Trump say anything?
He said, you know, we were going to have an affair, Stoynoff said. Trump also told him not to forget what his ex-wife Marla Maples had supposedly said was the best sex he had ever had. Were going to go for the steak. Were going to go see Peter Lugers, Stoynoff remembers Trump telling him.
Stoynoff conducted the interview as planned. I had my questions with me, she said, describing her feeling as a kind of feeling of being on autopilot. I had to do my job.
She told what happened to her direct supervisor, as well as a former journalism professor, but did not tell superiors. I was afraid that they would kill the story and that Trump might try to get revenge on me, try to destroy me, she said.
After the famous Access Hollywood tape came out in October 2016, the one in which Trump said of women, When you’re a star, they let you. You can do anything. Grab ‘Em by the Pussy Stoynoff wasn’t determined to go public. There was a debate to come. Surely Trump would be asked about it. If he stuck to his crude views of women, Stoynoff said, she wasn’t inclined. He didn’t, so she wrote an essay for People detailing her alleged experience.
The infamous clip of Trump’s hot mic was played to jurors in court today. None of the nine panelists seemed to show any obvious reaction, in keeping with their largely deadpan demeanor throughout these debates.
Stoynoff, who was repeatedly suffocated, became particularly emotional thinking of the other accusers. I was worried that because I didn’t say anything at that time, other women were hurt by him, so I have a little regret, she said taking a handkerchief.
Stoynoff’s testimony came a day after Jessica Leeds testified that Trump groped her on a plane in the late 1970s. She is the second team of Carrolls accusing Trump to be called to the stand.
Following Stoynoff’s testimony, Carrolls’ team played part of Trump’s October 2022 deposition in this case. (His attorneys have said Trump will not testify, and his deposition will provide his testimony.) He sat hunched and orange, looking more like James Austin Johnson’s hesitant caricature of Trump than himself. Did he read the 2019 Carrolls article in New York, in which she first accused him of rape? No, I don’t believe I did. Trump received a copy of the book; he leafed through the pages. Had he read it? No never. I’ve never seen the book, he said.

View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless.
